The Bill Jordan Foundation for Wildlife

The Bill Jordon Foundation works tirelessly to preserve and protect our earth. As a non-profit, non-salary organisation the charity relies on donations of time and money to invest in valuable projects across the world. The Foundation involves itself in all stages of conservation from the protection of wildlife and regeneration of ecosystems to the invaluable process of educating communities and countries on how to work with their environment

.In March 2006, The Bill Jordan Foundation was established as only one of a handful of internationally recognized and respected institutions in Nepal and subsequently received the highest award for the best wildlife conservation organization. The Foundation also provides help to orphaned children by building orphanages and education centres, and funds rural, sustainable development, enabling the people to build their economy in a manner that respects the wildlife and protects the habitat. The investment in the orphans of Nepal will provide hope and education to communities that would have never dreamed that either was possible. A specially designed curriculum will ensure that generations to come will understand the value of their environment.

The Bill Jordan foundation is also involved in a number of other projects; the conservation of snow leopards and tigers in Nepal and also the development of an elephant sanctuary in Thailand to name but a few. The Foundation understands that the survival of mankind and the survival of our environment are not two mutually exclusive events. Hope requires compassion, education and respect; it is the mission of the Foundation to provide this hope where once there was none.
